II GV 2. Presumably 1863 or shortly before, and presumably designed by John Hicks of Dorchester (to whom Thomas Hardy was articled), since they are identical to Nos 78 and 80, except in the following prints:-
1. Chimneys are rendered
2. Ornamental tiles to roof
3. Both wings have same attic floors as No 80's
4. Doors are planked and pointed arched, set in extensions with lean-to roofs and coped gables on kneelers
5. No 82 has 1 canted bay with pointed arched sash on ground floor
6. Moulded string above ground floor
7. No 34 has glazed conservatory behind
Nos 78 to 88 (even) form a group.
