Parish Church. C15 chancel-arch and south arcade. West Tower rebuilt in 1695 by Robert Browne, who later added north aisle and vestry. Chancel rebuilt in 1747-8. Extensive restorations and rebuildings in C19, chancel was rebuilt in 1862, south aisle in 1871, north arcade in 1873-9, when aisle reconditioned and the parapet added. B. Ferrey, the architect of some of this work. Porch and vestry, C19. Local rubble walls with freestone dressings, brick south aisle. Slate roofs. Present plan and description, see below.
