LONG STREET 1. 1625 (South-East Side) Brecon House
ST 6416 2/365 II GV 2.
Mid C19 circa. 3 storeys and basement. 3 window bays, westernmost bay in recession. Hipped roof with overhanging bracket eaves. Ashlar cladding. Sash windows in reveals, no glazing bars, moulded stone archivolts. Trellised iron verandah across westernmost bay, before 2-panelled house door; half- glazed entrance door to basement. Rectangular bay window through all storeys in east return.
Premises occupied by the South Western Dairies with railings and gate bounding garden to west and wall and gateways to east, Brewery Cottage, Premises occupied by the Slessor Club, Bute House, Brecon House and Dwarf Wall, Railings and gates to Brecon House form a group.
