Former farmhouse, now private house.  Late C17, with gabled datestone I.M. 1785 (possible date of repair).  Coursed rubble-stone walls, with Ham stone dressings.  Thatch roof, hipped at left hand and gabled at right hand, with a stone gable-coping.  Brick stack at ridge centre.  Stone stack and cornice at right hand gable.  Two storeys.  3 windows, hollow-chamfered stone mullions of 3 and 4 lights, hollow-chamfered stone mullions with separate labels, returned, over ground floor windows.  Iron casements with lead lights. Front doorway, right of centre, with straight-chamfered jambs and depressed-arch head.  Separate label over, C17.  Plank-and-muntin door, C20.  Interior: open fireplace backs onto cross-passage, fireplace has stone jambs and a cambered straight-chamfered wood lintel.  Bread oven.  Right end room also has an open fireplace, straight-chamfered jambs and depressed-arch head, C17.  Mid-chamfered ceiling-beams with stepped stops.  (RCHM, Dorset I, p 250(8)).
