No 115 (Bridge House) including parapet wall SY 4792 1/76

2. 1768 (date of building lease). Built by James Rooker, first Independant Minister, as his home and an academy for the training of minister. A rare example of a Dessenting Academy, and one of the forerunners of Western College, Plymouth. Ashlar front. Hipped tile roof. 2 storeys and attics. Modillion eaves cornice. Plinth and eaves cornice returned round giant angle pilasters. 5 ranges of sashes with painted stone architraves and sills. 2 hipped dormers. Panelled door with panelled reveals, moulded architrave, and hood on voluted console brackets. East elevation has 4 cased sashes with glazing bars. Casement windows behind. Rear part has old tile roof. Store parapet wall in front with small gatepiers.
Nos 61 to 115 (odd) and wall from east end of No 115 form a group;
