Stone cottage, with double gable end facing Upper Cheap Street of rubble. Ashlar front. 2 storeys and attic. Stringcourse. Plaintile roof, one dormer. Sash windows to 1st floor. On ground floor, splayed shop window with stone stall-riser; half-glazed door in stone frame in reveals to left hand.
The listed buildings on the North Side of The Green (with The Cottage adjoining The Green) form a group.
