Description
EVERSHOT ST 50 NE PARK LANE 2/37 Lion Gate II*
Two Gate-Piers. Late Cl7. Ham Hill stone with Portland stone lions. Rusticated piers, with round-headed semicircular niches with ashlar-faced pedestals. Each pier has a dentil-cornice. On the capstone of each is a lion, standing and supporting a cartouche. (RCHM. Dorset I, p.108(2))
