Rubble stone walls, thatched roof; brick end stacks and one right of door. 2 storeys. 3-room and cross-passage plan. C20 open timber gabled porch. Ledged door with small glass panel. Second ledged door at right end. Ground floor has 2 casements with horizontal glazing bars. These and the original door opening have original stop-chamfered timber lintels. First floor has 4 casements with centre glazing bar, and some remains of lead lights. Blocking right of door - possibly remains of projecting bread oven. Internally some exposed ceiling beams. Original fireplaces part built up. (RCHM Monument 6 (Dorset. Vol. 1))
