MARINE PARADE 1. 1357 (South Side) Nos 25 & 26 (Royal Standard Public House). Nos 27 & 28. Bay Cottage and premises occupied by Jane's Café. SY 3391 2/74 II GV 2. Nos 25 and 26: Late C18 to early C19 fronts. 2 gable ends to street with one window bay to each of them. 1st and 2nd floors roughcast; ground floor stuccoed. Sash windows on 1st and 2nd floors; 3-light sashes on ground floors; some glazing bars. Coupled doorways; 6-panelled doorways with top 2 panels cut away and glazed; common wood pilaster. Small extension to right hand on 1st and ground floors in No 25. Nos 27 and 28: Late C18 to early C19 fronts. 1 window bay and centre doorway each. 1st floors boarded. Ground floor stuccoed. 3-light sash on ground and 1st floors. Coupled doorways with fluted pilasters and entablature; ledged reveals; 6-panelled doors, each with top 4 panels glazed. Bay Cottage and premises occupied by Jans's Café: late C18 to early C19. North-east facing side of 3-storeys, 2 window bays. Hipped slate roof. Faced with roughcast. Modern windows on both 1st and 2nd floors; modern splayed bay on 1st floor. Modern extension to café on ground floor. Nos 24 to 28 (consec), and Bay Cottage and premises occupied by Jane's Café form a group. Listing NGR: SY3383891753
