HALF MOON STREET 1. 1625 (South-east Side) The House of Steps including rear range of outbuildings. Cottage Numbered 7 to rear.
ST 6316 1/123 II GV 2. C19
2 storey, 4 window ashlar front. Slate roof. Sash windows to the upper floor. Shop front of mid C19 neo-Georgian style; centre is recessed and has cast iron supports. Pilasters with incised line ornament; plate- glass shop windows to either side. Fascia has large moulded and voluted brackets supporting cornice. Cottage numbered 7: C18 to C19. 2 storeys. 2 window bays. Modern tile gabled roof. Stone rubble front. 2-light windows; upper windows below eaves. Below, from left to right hand, a segmental headed window, 2 segmental headed doorways, both with square headed ledged doors, northern door with small glazed panel. Rear range of several outbuildings to west of No 7. Immediately to west of No 7, a tall building of stone rubble with hipped roof which forms part of the courtyard behind The Three Steps and is probably contemporary with the front. One window with small panes faces east. To south, a lower range of several outbuildings of different heights with stone rubble walls and tile roofs.
