Cottage, mid C18 with early C20 southern extension.  Original cottage in
blue, header bond brickwork with dressings in lighter brick.  Extension is
half-timbered with brick noggin infil over a flint base.  Thatched roof with
brick stacks to ends of original range.  2 storeys, original cottage of 2
window range.  Original range has 2-light casements with horizontal glazing
bars.  Addition has wrought-iron casements with leaded-lights.  First floor
oriel projects over churchyard.  Door central to original range.  It is of
planks in a timber porch.  Over is a blind window in which is an insurance
plaque.  The extension is in the typical style of estate building dating
from the period when James Ismay owned the village.
