House, C17, Squared, coursed rubble, gable-ended, tiled roof with end brick
stacks. L-plan. 2 storeys. Road facade has a ground floor 4-light,
chamfered, stone mullioned window with returned label. Similar 3-light window
with no label above. Small, single light, C20 window to ground floor right.
South facade; 3 window range. Ground floor right and upper floor have stone
mullioned windows with returned labels. Central, probably C19 porch. The
south wall has 2 massive buttresses. "RCHM, Dorset, vol III", p 268, no 6.
