2. 1907-8, John Idrid Scott and Son and C T Miles. West Country type, 3 gables, no clerestory, no structural division between nave and chancel. Purbeck rubble, pinkish grey, with Bath dressings, Decorated style. West porch as narthex, with chequerwork parapet, entered on either side under big buttresses flanking 6-light west window. North porch with gable, north-east porch with flat roof and quatrefoil windows. Aisle windows mostly 4-light under segmental arches. Store bellcote on south-east gable. Interior: 4-bay nave, 3-bay chancel, with moulded arches on stilted vertical sections above octagonal columns. Roof of arched principals and canted rafters. Rood screen and parcloses carved by Boulton of Cheltenham, pulpit by Bridgeman of Lichfield. Reredos with Majestas of 1934 by Cecil Thomas, flanked by 2 tiers of stone panelling.
