House attached to No. 48 (q.v.) at rear.  Late C18 - early C19.  Rubble stone walls, hipped slate roofs, brick end stacks.  2 storeys.  Part-glazed panelled door.  Ground floor has 4 sashes with glazing bars, 2 filling a former carriage entrance, and one small casement with centre glazing bar.  First floor has 4 sashes with glazing bars.  Included for group value.  (RCHM, Monument 108. Dorset.  Vol. II). A National Trust property.
