Detached house. Early C17, altered, and roof raised in C18. Walls originally of ironstone rubble, part rebuilt and repaired in brick. C20 tiled roof, with coped gable at west end. Projecting ironstone stack, with offsets, at west end. Brick stack at east end. Brick buttresses to rear wall. 2 door openings in this wall, with slightly canted heads. Front elevation has central ledged door. Ground floor has 2 casement windows with centre glazing bars. First floor has 3 similar windows. Plat band at first floor level. Internally, both ground floor rooms have large open fireplaces - part built up. RCHM Monument 7.
