Detached house, now divided into 2 cottages. C17 origin, enlarged in C19. L-shaped plan. Brick walls, partly plastered, hipped tiled roof, brick stacks. 2 storeys. Main front has glazed conservatory in centre. Ground floor has 2 casement windavs with glazing bars. First floor has 3 similar windows. Entrance in (west) side wall. Lean-to extension on this side has plastered walls and tiled roof, with dormer. C20 single-storey extension at east end. One ground floor room has large open fireplace with bread oven - part built up. RCHM Monument 53.
