Centre house of terrace. Appears C17 origin. Plastered cob walls. Thatched roof. Brick stack. One storey and attic. Ground floor has modern glazed door. One casement window with glazing bars. One canted bay window with casements with glazing bars. Attic has two dormers with casements, one with cast iron lights. Projecting two-storeyed rear wing, probably C18, of similar construction to main block. Main ground floor room has large open fireplace with timber lintel and jambs. Evidence of a second opening south of the fireplace - possibly for a curing chamber, now filled by bread oven. RCHM Monument 27.
