Former rectory, now private house. Late C16, partly rebuilt C19 and enlarged towards the west. Coursed rubblestone walls with stone quoins. Upper storey is of timber framing, jettied and tile hung, with original joists to the west of the entrance. Stone gable end walls. The back is rendered with stucco and has a small projection Which was probably a garderobe.
Slate roof with stone gable copings. C19 brick stacks at gable ends. Two storeys, with gabled porch at centre. 5 windows, mainly 2 light C19 wood casements with lead lights, 3 light over porch entrance. Right hand end of ground floor has a re-used 3 light window in Ham stone with four centred head and super mullions, trefoiled ogee lights. 2 light sash window over. The central porch doorway has an oak frame, with straight chamfered jambs and 3 centred head, C16. Two leaf C20 door. Interior: some of the rooms have deeply chamfered intersecting ceiling beams. The staircase is of c.1700 with square newels and turned balusters. (R.C.H.M. Dorset II, p. 186 (3)).
