The description shall be amended to read;
Detached cottage. Reputed building date 1631, much of fabric and detail of later dates. Dressed stone walls, roman tile roof. Brick stacks to both gables . Main range parallel with and set back from street has continuous outshut in rubble walls,of late C20. Two storeys,4 windows,3 light wood casements (replacements) with wood cills; two 2-light casements. Plank door with studded muntins,left of centre,in weatherboarded porch on stone base and pentice covering. Forms a group with Tudor Cottage (q.v.) and Old School House (q.v) Source: RCHM, Dorset I, p55(34)

Front door, left of centre, plank with studded muntins. Porch, weatherboarded with a pentice roof on a stone base. Continuous outshut at rear, later C19, with same roofing and rubble stone walls.
