Description

Part of a Neolithic stone axe head reported as being ploughed up near the Yeovil Golf Course. The axe was identified an reported by C E Bean. The published note has a reference number 1092. The note describes the fragment as being 'ploughed up in sand' but there is no other information about the circumstances of the find and its recovery.
