Description

Inhumation found in Corporation Yard, Poundbury Road, recorded on 9th May 1931. The skeleton was extended E-W, coffin nails suggest it was coffined in a grave cut into an earlier ditch fill running N-S. The right arm lay across the breast and had a bronze bracelet of 3-ply twisted wire on it. Information on location derived from Mr. W. Yard in 1951 [1].
