Description

The site of Fordington Farm barrow was surveyed by 'J.G.B' of the Ordnance Survey Archaeological Division on the 5 June 1980. His field notes are recorded on the OS record card as follows: At SY 69898989. A regular mound in a pasture field, diameter 30.0 m, approximately and height 1.0 m, which has been truncated by a track. It has the appearance of a ploughed down bowl barrow. [1]
