Description

South Lodge, a two-storeyed brick building with attics and stuccoed front was built circa 1760. The south front which has a porch with Roman Doric columns and pilasters, was stuccoed and renovated early in the 19th century. There are later additions on the north side. Grade 2* The site was surveyed by 'J.G.B' of the Ordnance Survey Archaeological Division on the 10 October 1980. His field notes are recorded on the OS record card as follows: No change; name confirmed [1].
