Description

Observations and recording during the groundworks for two dwellings. A small number of possible medieval pits and postholes were found, but dating evidence was lacking. These features were sealed by a deep deposit of garden soils, indicating a long period of occupation, but very little material remains were recovered. A small number of post-medieval and modern features including two brick-lined wells and brick-lined pits were found.
