Description

The site of St Catherine's chapel was investigated by means of two trial pits in advance of determination of a planning application for erection of a portal frame barn. These revealed a mixture of topsoil and rubble on top of natural deposits. No archaeological features were observed and no artefacts found in the displaced topsoil.
