EDO5539 - South Dorset Ridgeway Project; field survey 1983

A field survey to assess monument preservation and management was commissioned by English Heritage as part of a project funded by the Department of the Environment and subsequently by English Heritage and carried out by the Dorset Archaeological Committee and the Trust for Wessex Archaeology. Fieldworkers completed Department of the Environment form AM107 on site. The results of this survey were published in a report submitted to English Heritage in 1983, and the report forms are held in the Dorset Historic Environment Record. The results were also considered in the final report on the wider project (Woodward, 1991).
