Description

Excavation of a crop-mark site on the line of the West Stafford By-pass revealed an incomplete ring-ditch, which the excavators interpreted as the remains of a funerary monument of Neolithic or Bronze Age date. An associated length of ditch was interpreted as part of a second similar monument.
