Description

The evaluation revealed a large number of cut features of certain or probable archaeological interest, but most were undated. A notable exception is a curvilinear ditch from which a deposit of late Neolithic Grooved Ware pottery was recovered. A few other features produced Roman pottery, iron slag and a single prehistoric chert flake. One unstratified sherd of late Iron Age pottery was also recovered.
