Description

Archaeological monitoring during laying of a replacement water main. The monitoring entailed the close observation of topsoil stripping and trenching. Plot 1 contained several spreads of material, thought probably to relate to lynchets. Plot 3 contained a small ditch, and Plots 4 and 5 several ditches of unknown date.
