Description

An archaeological evaluation comprising the excavation of seven trenches measuring 50m by 2m, and five trenches measuring 30m by 2m, some targeting anomalies seen in geophysical survey. Soil was removed by machine to the point where archaeological deposits or natural subsoil was exposed. Archaeological deposits were observed in Trenches 1-3 and 7-9.
