Description

Observations and recording during machine stripping of the route of a new track to allow emergency sewage pipe repairs by Wessex Water. The 4m-wide track was stripped to a depth of 250-350mm. The NW end of the track was about 20m south of Hundred Barrow, a scheduled monument. No archaeologically-significant finds or features were observed.
