Description

Archaeological features were exposed by topsoil stripping in 2001 and subsequently excavated by Peter Woodward and Paul Martin. This rescue excavation showed the features to be the remains of a Neolithic timber circle which the excavators described as having a diameter twice that of the north circle at Durrington Walls. A structure of uncertain nature but associated with a hearth of Bronze Age date.
