Description

Observations and recording by AC archaeology during works to improve a public footpath on the north-facing slope of Castle Hill. The works consisted of building of steps on the upper level of the hill and creation of a gravel path leading to a pond to the west. Silt excavated from the pond was also examined. No archaeological finds or deposits were noted.
