Description

Small-scale excavation and topographic survey following geophysical survey of an area of cropmarks suggesting an enclosure similar in form to a nearby mortuary enclosure at Whitey Top Farm. Report not submitted to the HER. Results not known, though the NRHE entry suggests the enclosure may be Roman.
