Description

NRHE: There is a reference to this excavation in a MSS notebook held at the Museum, but no author or date is detailed. 'Barrow near The Mansion House'. Hutchins: "An urn, containing bones, was dug up from a barrow near the mansion-house in the year 1799." (Manor House: SY 63009932). SY 69 NW 19.
