Description

Observations and recording by Wessex Archaeology during digging of a trench for a new gas pipe to the church. No archaeological features were uncovered. The graveyard soil contained fragments of pottery and roof tile, and disarticulated human skeletal remains; the human remains were reburied within the churchyard.
