EDO7619 - Land off Wheelers Lane, Bearwood, Poole; geophysical survey 2021

A magnetometer survey of 1.6 ha of land off Wheelers Lane, Canford Magna has not recorded any magnetic responses that could be interpreted as being of definite archaeological interest. Several uncertain linear and curvilinear trends plus discrete responses have been detected. While they could be due to natural or modern processes, given the archaeological evidence in the wider vicinity, an archaeological origin for the responses cannot be ruled out entirely. The route of a service pipe has also been marked.
