Description
Excavations by Poole Museum Service Archaeological Unit in 1979 following limited excavations after the discovery of human remains during alterations to Farm Cottage in 1974. Five skeletons in intercutting graves cut into natural sand, and concealeed by a grey sandy layer of 16th-century date. A C-14 date of 1170+/-70 was obtained from grave 9 (HAR-3865).
