Description

One section was cut just inside the NE end of Penn Wood and immediately located the aqueduct. Three further sections in the wood also confirmed the aqueduct to within a few metres of the 1992 excavation. A little to the east of that excavation, the aqueduct swings NW and then W again towards Quatre Bras where a fifth section confirmed the course.
