Description
Three trenches excavated ahead of proposed residential development, revealing a medieval lynchet sealing a 3rd-4th century Roman horizon - suggesting nearby industrial activity, possibly pottery production. Preceded by a desk-based assessment (Event 1321772). (According to BIAB 1996, this evaluation took place in 1996).
