Description

Excavation of two areas in advance of proposed residential development and following an evaluation (Event1347734) recorded further prehistoric activity, including a possible early Neolithic house associated with a pit and spread of flint and chert artefacts. The suggested round-house identified in the evaluation was re-interpreted as a burnt mound with enclosing wall.
