Description
Evaluation undertaken prior to a planning proposal for a residential development, access roads, school site and public open space. Eight trenches were excavated by machine under archaeological supervision. Each trench was 1.5m wide and 10m long. No archaeology was found apart from a post medieval field drain. The work was funded by Woodsford Farms. Site code: WFC00. See Event 1350780 for initial assessment. NMR Microfilm Index PRN: 7420. NB. Northern boundary of evaluation area mapped in HER requires refinement.
