Description
Archaeological evaluation comprising geophysical survey and trial pitting programme. A 100% geophysical survey was undertaken in the area around Scotland Farm in response to the high archaeological potential of that area of the proposed development. Elsewhere a 20% sample of the area was scanned. Two test pits yielded archaeological deposits. The report concluded that only a low potential for further archaeological deposits existed within the development zone.
