Description

Lilian Ladle of Wareham and District Archaeological Society conducted archaeological observations during development at 23-25 West Walls in January and February 2000. Observations revealed deep deposits of garden soil, cut with two phases of building activity one from the 18th century and the other from the 20th century. The remains of the floor of an eighteenth-century cottage and a privy were recorded.
