Description
The NRHE record an excavation of a round barrow by Edward Cunnington. NRHE: This excavation is detailed in the Cunnington MSS held in the Dorset County Museum Library (Cunnington No. 5). A barrow composed of sand and gravel was almost entirely carted away in 1872. Twelve urns were found in the top of the barrow, of which two survive in the Dorset County Museum.
