Summary

A crop mark visible on aerial photographs. Interpreted as an enclosure of probable prehistoric date. Probably part of an Iron Age and Roman field system of rectangular conjoined enclosures which is visible as soilmarks on aerial photographs taken in 2005 and extends over an area that measures circa 500m long, across several modern fields. The site is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs and was digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cern and Piddle AIM Project.

SY 78229646. Crop-mark of small irregular single-ditched enclosure. SY 78299636. Dark rectangular soil mark, possible site of enclosure. <1>

The possible enclosure is probably part of an Iron Age and Roman field system of rectangular conjoined enclosures which is visible as soilmarks on aerial photographs taken in 2005 and extends over an area that measures circa 500m long, across several modern fields. <2>

The site is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs and was digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cern and Piddle AIM Project. <4>
