Listed Building record MDO10450 - Church of unknown dedication, Up Cerne

Formerly a Parish Church,it is now private chapel. It is possibly C15 in origin but was largely rebuilt in 1870. It is of banded flint and rubble with some ashlar, some render and ashlar dressings. The Nave roof is tiled (some scalloped), and the chancel roof is slated.

Parish church of Unknown Dedication. Now a private chapel. Possibly C15th origins, for the chancel and nave were rebuilt in 1870 when the West tower was added. It contains a late C12th Norman font of the familiar square type made of Purbeck marble. <1-2>
