Listed Building record MDO10662 - The Yews, 6 Whitcombe Road, Beaminster

Late 17th century detached house, of two storeys and attics, with stone walls and tiled roof. There is a late 18th century stone porch, from another building. Some 17th century internal features.

‘The following monuments, unless otherwise described, are of the 17th century and of two storeys; the walls are of rubble and the roofs are thatched or covered with modern materials. Some of the buildings have exposed ceiling-beams and original fireplaces. … (11) The Yews, house 35 yards N.W. of (10), has modern additions on the N. and S.W. The E. front retains its original two-light stone windows and there are other original windows on the N. and W.’
