<1> Royal Commission on Historical Monuments England, 1952, An Inventory of Historical Monuments in the County of Dorset, Volume I (West), 24 (Monograph). SDO97.
‘The following monuments, unless otherwise described, are of the 17th century and of two storeys; the walls are of rubble and the roofs are thatched or covered with modern materials. Some of the buildings have exposed ceiling-beams and original fireplaces. … (11) The Yews, house 35 yards N.W. of (10), has modern additions on the N. and S.W. The E. front retains its original two-light stone windows and there are other original windows on the N. and W.’
