Summary

Excavations in 1974 of an area formerly occupied by a storage building situated between Trinity Street and 54 and 55 South Street and 11 Cornhill recovered a quantity of unstratified Roman pottery from areas disturbed by 19th-century development. The pottery consisted of coarse wares with some samian ware.
