Full Description
The vicarage house, garden and 2 acres of ground belonging to it were valued at #3 p.a. in a return to the Commission in 1650. <1>
The Vicarage incorporates an early 16thc. building, much altered and enlarged in the 19thc. A room on the ground floor has ogee-headed windows, and fireplace, a doorway and small windows in the N. wall are of similar early date. <3>
This well preserved stone built house is still in use as a vicarage. The room referred to in T2 faces south. The outline of the 16th cent building cannot readily be separated from later alterations by visual inspection. <4>
